Q : Whats the ruling upon suicide?how to manage their dead body?

A : According to opinion of jumhur ulama, its a major sin, not kafir. and will be punished so badly in the  hellfire. 

in hadith stated that if one commits suicide by hanging, he will keep doing the same thing/action in the hellfire forever until its limit/be forgiven. 

if one keeps stabbing his own body and die in dunya, he will keep doing the same thing in the hellfire.

if one eats poison, he will keep eating poison in the hellfire. etc.

until when?until Allah swt forgive them, and they will be taken into jannah/heaven afterwards. but with one condition, they must be a mukmin in this dunya. 

in kitab fiqh stated that to manage the dead body of one who committed suicide, not encourage to be managed by many people. its enough to be managed by some people only. 

wajib to solat jenazah on him, wajib to bath him but cannot be managed by so many people. 

because nabi and rasul and ulama kabir NEVER ziarah the body who died by committed suicide. only the people who have to manage the dead body attend it to finish the fard kifayah upon all muslim. 

same goes to the dead where when they still alive, they do so many bad things to others. its not sunnah to visit them. so that this can be a warning and lesson for the ones that doing the same crimes.

and they will be buried in muslim cemetery BUT bury them at the end of the corner, yakni, need to be separated from others grave, this is stated in kitab fiqh. 

why need to do that? so that people can take it as a lesson and fear to commit suicide when they see the grave of that kind of people are separated and isolated.
