Q : Whats the ruling upon delaying prayer?

A : Wajib duration times of solat is wajib muawassa', not wajib like after solat wajib to solat immediately. no.

for example, zohor time is 13.30. so wajib solat time is after 13.30 until 16.30(before asr).

so whoever solat on 13.30 - afdal/sunnah. solat on 14.30 - permissible. solat on 16.00 - makruh. solat on 15, or 10mins before azan asr - haram.

so to delay solat, is permissible but its afdal/sunnah/better to do it on beginning of the solat time. but dont delay until the time is almost finish.
